associations. The topics and activities incorporate all five senses
to facilitate connections and conversations across a wide range of
cognitive function.
Designed by nationally recognized experts in gerontology,
geriatrics, and memory enhancement, this workbook provides a
scientifically sound, well-developed program that will help family
caregivers and professionals maintain and enhance relationships
with the persons in their care. It also helps memory-impaired
individuals to retain dignity and remain active companions, even as
their communication skills become increasingly
limited.

What we like best about this book:
Discovering
successful activities and reaching long term memories is far more
than luck or a warm heart. It takes expertise, experience and
knowing what makes for success. Through the Seasons is clearly
the sum of all three, resulting in a simple book of wonderful
suggestions, taking advantage of all of the senses, that
can pierce the veil of dementia. the ideas contained in these
pages cannot help but result in smiles, stories, memories and
activities.
